I have a couple of non-automotive projects I should finish first but this could be a head start on the bike-engined car I’ve wanted to build for a while.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
It’s not the most powerful option but I’d like to use a Honda VFR drivetrain, 100% because of this One Take:
/I know taking on some else’s project isn’t generally a brilliant idea but this might be as close to a blank slate as one can get. I might inquire to see what specs the chassis was built to, where the front suspension geometry came from and if he’s got any body panels for it already.

PITL D-Class, the LS swapped TR6 needs some competition.

Wow. Just watched the video, and I don't think I've ever wanted a car so badly

That looks like a nice price, even if you had to modify it a bit.

I thought that car had an LT from a C4 ‘vette. There’s also the red, turbo Miata powered locost that runs in TLMC, I think he used to run PITL too.

That is my favourite One Take video and car, by a margin.

My god, the price is very right imo
Suspension design is probably some variation of the Haynes, or Gibbs manuals.

Nope, LS1 power. That red “thing” I think is loosely based on a Miata chassis (the cabin is Miata, but the rest is tube frame) with molded fiber glass body. I’ve ridden in it, it’s wild.

Oh man
that’s interesting
and I was actually down that way this week
(well Tillsonburg)
one
of my many dream projects would be to buy a partially built
or dilapidated lotus 7 replica and fit it with an RX7 turbo
motor. Ultra light weight and 300hp. That said
in
this new era of direct injection turbo motors it might be obsolete, there’s probably a modern
4cyl out there that’s a similar power: weight
and much more reliable/common.

I figured that’s likely the case. I recall one of the sets of plans I’ve read mentioned Mustang II components.
